Hiii I’m back to bother you all again with technical difficulties. Long story short, if I have diagnosed the problem properly, I need a new Apple Pencil! And if I’m wrong I’ll need to replace both my pencil and the iPad itself!! But (and I am sure this will surprise no one that’s read this far) - I have no money 🥲

This isn’t quite a 100% necessary expense. I still have a handful of job applications sent out that are still waiting on replies, and hopefully I’ll have some more income sooner rather than later - but since comms and art have been one of my main sources of income this year, this is gonna be a decent problem for a little bit 😅 in the meantime I’m going to reach into the void and boost some stuff and offer additional ways that maybe I can earn some money for the month!

So if you do happen to have extra cash, some ways that would help a ton: my patreon (this month’s star tier sticker is going to be an aftg mermay design of some sort or another), my etsy, my kofi shop, or plain old kofi donations. But I also wanna be able to sweeten the pot a little, so there’s more!

I’m selling a couple original pieces over on kofi as well, including Raven Kevin, the Jean & Jeremy piece, and the og mermay comic from last year 👀

I’m taking low-stakes sketch commissions, also on kofi! For 15usd you can drop an aftg/tsc sketch request, and if you want to be tagged when I post it, leave your url as well! Additional characters for a little extra, and you can drop specific reqs - give me thoughts, ideas, meme redraws, outfits, or ask for a specific scene or specific au of mine (sure is a good month for mermaids 👀). I’d also take requests of my own ocs, but unfortunately for these kinds of sketch requests I won’t be taking others ocs.

All that being said, of course I understand if donating isn’t possible for you rn, so I’m not trying to make you feel guilty about scrolling past lol. A visual look at the journey I took on my most recent artistic endeavor + significant commentary.

Drafting took my attention for the first 2 days or so of my attempt. I really wanted to make sure I had a good grasp on @/piplupfluffwritingstuff2 character before I started doing any alterations . So I made a bunch of sketches. Starting off human before slowly moving on to more mer like concepts. Then once I had an idea of what Mer Aurelis would look like, I started drawing thumbnails for potential final submission's.

After picking one i finally decided it was time to get started on...

Attempt #1! Shown above and Attempt #2 (Image unavailable). Both sketched in pencil and were meant to be finished in ink.

Now, obviously both of these attempts were scrapped. I have multiple reasons why I didn’t like Attempt #1 with the big ones being I didn’t feel like it showed off the character’s design in a way I was satisfied with and a persistent feeling that I could do better. So I tried again….

Attempt #2 was so bad it made me change mediums. I was not happy with it in anyway, so much so that I cannibalized the drawing and used it as the back side for a bunch of Mini-drawings done in color pencils.

Things were not going great but I persisted.

Deciding to try anew (but with acrylics this time) I began on...

Attempt #3… as you can probably tell that does not look like Aurelis. I rolled with it and semi-finished the painting anyway but like, this was definitely a failure.

Deciding to take a step back. I made the decision to make another ref for Aurelis. To better homogenize things…

A drawing that would become the base for my next attempt…

Attempt #4, a mix of ink pens and colored pencils. This was almost the one I turned in but the persistent feeling of “I can do better remained” so I sat on this one for a bit.

After some thinking I realized I didn’t like how the eyes looked, hated the background, wasn’t employing the full capabilities of ink or colored pencil by mashing them this way, and in general wasn’t vibing with it.

So I gave it another go, changing mediums once more came..

Attempt #5...

So, I deleted Attempt #5. All that needs to be known about it was that it was a purely digital drawing and that I grew frustrated with very quickly leading to it's unfortunate demise.

At this point I was felling thoroughly disheartened. I had been working consecutively on this project for about 7 days at that point with little success and the burnout was really starting to kick in (to my despair) . So I decided to take a break...

For like.... less than a day.

Because in the late evening of Day 8 I started on...

Attempt #6. I worked on it mostly throughout days 9-10 at a leisurely pace. All in all I’m actually really happy with this attempt. My only real problem with it is that it felt too casual.

Attempt #6 was drawn on a piece of scrap paper and was more intended as a quick sketch to see if I could still nail Aurelis' vibe after all the failed attempts. Making it more a glorified sketch on par with the drafts then a genuine attempt and for that reason I just couldn't let this be it.

So in the late evening of day 10, I picked up my tablet, and using one of the discarded failed scans of Attempt #4’s line art, I started on Attempt #7.

Which became my ultimate submission to @/writeblr-art-trade Mermay Edition. Which can be viewed here:

Some Notes On Attempt #7:

Finished it in the late morning of May 13th, 2025.

Took me 30 hours to complete among the spread of 3 days. With the Journey it took to get there taking about 13.

It's my 100th drawing on Ibis Paint X!!! (My Preferred Drawing Program).

My 5 year old sister saw the drawing and felt inspired to make her own based off of it.

The Beauty of Art Fight

In the month of July, artists across the world rally online for the free, all-inclusive art contest known as Art Fight. (I myself am participating this year, albeit unnoticeably.) Online art events help bring artists together; they can grow a person's platform and help them find like-minded people to create with. However, for someone chronically burned out, such as myself, an entire month of artwork is quite a daunting task. Luckily, Art Fight is different from other online art events like Inktober or MerMay, as you are not expected to share completely finished, polished artwork every day. Also, from what I’ve seen, the community is much nicer than any creative online community I’ve come across. People are so nice! Revenge attacks are common courtesy, and comments, likes, and shares from other artists are almost constant. Despite there being sides and teams, it's easy to tell that the artists participating want everyone to succeed! 

Every year, Art Fight has two themed sides, and artists can sort themselves accordingly. This year, the teams are Team Stardust (my team) and Team Seafoam. You make character cards of up to five original characters and put them on your Art Fight page; this is how people “attack” you. To attack another person, you draw their OC, and a person attacks you by drawing your OC. The whole month is basically a gigantic art trade! Each attack can earn a certain amount of points based on the style or level of drawing. (A sketched bust will earn fewer points than a polished full-body shot.) Then, at the end of the month, whoever has the most points wins! Being on the winning team earns you an online badge for your Art Fight page and bragging rights until next July. 

Art Fight was originally a very small-scale competition created by Blankit; the official site for Art Fight was created later in 2014 by Chronicartist. However, the official founder is credited to the artist Takaia, who is no longer affiliated with the contest but did participate as a contestant last year. Currently, there are three co-owners: Rainy, classicturtle, and the lead artist, Axel. Don't be fooled, these owners aren't just corporate faces; these artists are extremely talented. Axel makes complex shading look like child's play. Vivid and bright colors done the “right way," not overpowering or an eyestrain, but a tool to set mood and reflect on the setting. Annoyingly, this incredibly talented person also knows how to 3D model; making an Art Fight attack on PitchblackDragon in 2023, Axel submitted a ridiculously detailed model of a dragon's bust. If I weren't so proud of Axel, I’d almost be jealous. I am so honored to share a community with these amazing people.

I should probably stay vague in this post, but it's my page; I'll talk about what I want to! And who I want to talk about is the artist, comikbook, or Liz. I am a longtime fan of theirs and post an annoying amount of comments on their TikToks. Liz, as of me writing this, has already made ninety Art Fight attacks! All gorgeous and colored with this beautiful textured shading one can only aspire to achieve. They also have ten characters available to attack on their page; it is simply not enough to say that comikbook is a determined artist! Only mid-July and Liz is nearing one hundred attacks, however, they also have 272 attacks made against them. Comikbook has stated on TikTok that they intend to send revenge attacks to every single person who attacked them! That is quite the number! Send your luck their way and towards all of the other artists participating in Art Fight this year! I have immense respect for all of the hard-working artists who are participating this year. The comradery and positivity in the community is staggering. Not to mention the emotional and physical toll it takes to create that much art, I’ve heard of people calling off work to draw for this competition! I have made two attacks so far, and even with that small number, I felt the stress. I want you few readers to know that I am watching you proudly from the sidelines; you are amazing. Your art is worth it, and your stories are worth it; they have purpose.

Okay... I threw m plans for a Mermay picture out of the window. I've been binging "My Time at Portia" for days now. This is just such a relaxing and unagitated game that brings me so much joy with building and fulfilling the commissions for the townspeople.

My builder Cassidy nearly instantly fell in love with the head of Civil Corps (the "police" of the town) and Arlo is just so cute.

So I had to feed my current hyperfixiation with a quick fanart of Cassidy with her husband Arlo (yes, she managed to marry him on the last day of the first year :3)

Okay... so... this was supposed to be my "personal art" piece for March. But migraine... I at least managed to finish it and I am mostly satisfied with the outcome. Since it's not a commission I am not going to fret too much over the parts that didn't turn out quite like I wanted them.

But at least I got myself a Lynn/Bruno fanart while I am still enjoying Season 4 of "Love Island the Game".

This game is truly a guilty pleasure and I am probably 20 years older than the target audience XD but it's silly and fun and I need that in my life right now XD Lynn is the main character in this season and I am playing her in the game.

And I know about the controversies around season 4. But I decided that I can't shut out everything in my life that I enjoy because capitalism is a thing... I have fun - you just don't have to take this season too seriously XD

Lynn and Bruno would never work outside the Villa... but that's a problem for another day XD

Of course... right before I need to get back to work I find my inspiration and the motivation to draw again ;) At least that's a good sign that I am really over Covid (now I only need to get rid of that annoying cough...) But at least I could seize the remaining time and managed to finish something small for myself. It’s the 16th... so we can post this, right? I’ve been waiting since May to finally be allowed to share this XD  My contribution to this years TAG Mini Bang ( @tagminibang2022 / @tagminibang ) I got assigned to illustrate one of @womble1′s great fanfics and there was so much to chose from and many brilliant fics! ♥ But that one scene totally brought an instant image to my mind, so I had to illustrate it after I read the little story called “Rest”.

In a little over a week my end of term exam will be done and I might actually be able to get back to some writing. With that in mind, I’m refreshing myself on what projects I wanted to do. Featuring some plot ideas for hattercrow, octogoblin and riddlebird under the cut.

HatterCrow

Pumpkin King Based on freakxwannaxbe’s post with Jervis in the role of the curious youngster and Jonathan as the supernatural creature. I have actually written this scenario but wanted to expand on it some way. My aim was to post this at Halloween, whether I’ve done more to it or not.

Quadrille A five-times fic featuring Jervis getting dosed with fear toxin. Maybe halfway done. I certainly have concepts for each part and have written out a chunk of the first three. It’d be easy enough to finish this with a few dedicated writing sessions.

Every Breath You Take An Arkhamverse project that I’d love to complete. These versions are a degree more twisted than, for example, their btas counterparts and that makes the dynamics more intricate to work with. I really want to do justice to this one. Its begun but I have no idea how long it will end up being.

Haunted House Something fun with the btas dork squad crew, and featuring some riddlebird on the side. Exactly as the title implies, the boys go to a Haunted House. Events unfold from there. This ought to be a one shot that I could wrap up quite easily.

Mermay Yes, this is not going to be posted in time for mermay (this year). Well underway but I ran out of time. Featuring Otto as an octopus-man in the laboratory of Oscorps and Norman increasingly under pressure to dissect him for science. A smattering of Harry bonding with his dad as well.

The Hands On Approach Mostly smut. Busy CEO Norman visits an exclusive club for some tactile relief. His thoughts all too fixated on the scientist working for him, Otto. Set in TSSM version although I have not finished watching that series yet. Started and will be finished without difficulty.

Suit A random idea I had while watching TSSM. With a corporate event coming up requiring Otto’s presence, Norman insists on buying him an appropriate suit to wear. That’s about as far as I got but I’d still like to conclude it somehow.

Fate Or Something Like It Because the idea of time travel and paradoxes intrigues me (even while it gives me a headache) I sketched out my own thoughts on what happens when, post NWH, Norman and Otto go back to their respective times. Quite complex but I would love to get this written up properly sometime.

RiddleBird

The Winner Takes It All Another Arkhamverse fic, set sometime after the first. Mostly smut but with an underlying power play as you’d expect from these two. Started writing this and have copious notes so its definitely on the cards to get finished. I always enjoy coming back to this version.

Batman vs Dracula I had a good chat about this idea with a friend on discord and it essentially would be reimagining the movie with Riddler instead of Joker. I do enjoy reworking canon like that and 2004 riddlebird is one of my favourites so I’d really like to try this. Plus I would have an excuse to rewatch the film XD

Living Doll Of all my half-planned ideas, this one has lingered as a constant for longest. Using the BurtonSchumacher pairing and setting Oswald in the title roll. The gothic vibe seems fit here. There is something very appealing to me about this and I would like to develop it further.

Museum Meeting Another enduring idea after seeing a few comic panels giving me ideas. What if Ed and Oswald actually met when they were kids? Both outcast oddballs with a penchant for visiting museums and art galleries. Its a cute visual to me and I’d enjoy building upon it.

These are just a few pulled together and I have other ideas floating around (including my ongoing NaNoWriMo project). I like hearing feedback on things so feel free to drop a comment if anything strikes you.

@mermay_official Day 31: #Potion ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🤔What is your favourite Harry Potter book moment? I’ll tell you mine at the end of this post. Funny story about this one… I’ve actually finished the drawing a few days ago — on the 31st. Then, when I looked back at it after a couple of hours I realized I forgot to make them into mermaids. 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You can see the original sketch if you swipe. This challenge was not easy and I’m exhausted! I have “I’m still standing! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!” repeating in my head — but another voice argues: “Barely.” 😁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So… I’m going to take a few days off. Get some sleep. Go for walks. Read more of the books I bought. I’ll probably draw more — because drawing makes me happy. Then, I’ll get back to storyboarding #mfa_wofv⚔️ trailer and finishing my first Art Book on Monday. ☺️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Happy Weekend Everyone! Man, I forgot to post 90% of my art here for the past while. I’m gonna do an art dump in this post under the cut. Enjoy the bonk emoji if you don’t click the read more, and man am I dumb and forgetful lmao.

[04/14/21] - This isn’t really new art, but I started to work on giving the four OCs of mine without a full name full names... I have not finished this bit, though. So Hunter and Akira have full names, and Warlock and Assassin only have temporary names. This may end up like Seven where I put in their names as a temporary name (7th OC I’d made at that time) and it just kind of... sticks. Lmao.

[04/20/21] - Alone on a Friday Night? God, you’re pathetic. I didn’t colour this one because it was a half-attempt at a meme image I still like it, though, so I might end up colouring it. It’s gonna appear again whenever I do my “unfinished drawings art dump” at some point probably in... June? I know I said I’d post them last month but forget it, lmao, it’ll happen eventually.

[04/20/21] - A D&D Map! This was to help me visualize the layout of my D&D character’s ship he used to be on. Also for my DM if they ever put us aboard the ship. The little fella in the corner is just there to vibe. This map is made of free to use assets from This Website, so while I’m gonna say DONT USE MY MAP WITHOUT PERMISSION, feel free to make your own!

[04/26/21] - Lesbian Day of Visibility drawing of yours truly, the disapointment! That’s... really all I have to say about this, honestly. It was just for that one day and that was it, lmao. I mean, I accidentally lined it in dark pink, so.. .That’s different, I guess?

[04/30/21] - Do Astral Seas dream of Ensorcled Sheep? Does the City know what Sheepleb is going to do? What crimes he may commit? Who knows! This was fan art of Critical Role ep. 134 if I remember correctly, right at the end when they jumped into the portal into the astral sea and Caleb was a sheep. Using my knowledge of the German language, I knew the word for “shit”, and had to use it.

[05/07/21] - This was already posted, but it’s going in here to dilinuate that it was drawn at this point. Also, aside from playing Miitopia, this is all I have to show for myself until the 12th.

[05/12/21] - Hex Maniac Ender challenges you to a Pokemon Battle! WIll you win against my team? My sis, who loves fairy types, pointed out to me that there’s a fairy girl and hex maniac duo, so I’d be the hex maniac. I spent... Over a week drawing this, because I basically had to redraw the Hex Maniac art from scratch in a higher quality size, and then draw myself over it. So... You can excuse the low-effort background for once. It was basically this, and then my birthday doodle from May 1st to May 12th, and then I took a break to draw up several D&D characters quickly for fullbody references.

[05/12/21] - Remember this art I made several months ago? I finally added my other two completed characters! I have three more named but without character sheet D&D characters, so for now this is just Kara, Axel, Golden Shadow, Kau, Cecillia, and Miri. Kress, Tempest, and Melia will have to wait until I make character sheets for them to be posted, and... For when I probably make more D&D characters. I have at least 9 additional, incomplete character ideas floating around, so... I’m never gonna be done this art, huh?

[05/12/21] - Speaking of D&D characters, did you know I’ve been making them as Miis in Miitopia? So here is their finished full body art next to their Miitopia self! Some of them look a little off (Golden Shadow, Cecillia) because of limitations of the editor and shading issues, some of them look a little off (Kau, Kress) because this is a human face canvas that I’m using to make a non-human face, and some of them (Melia, Axel) look REALLY GOOD. Common traits among my D&D characters include green eyes and tall. You wanna know why? Because I am tall and... despite having red eyes, I do have green eyes under the coloured contacts.

[05/15/21] - More D&D stuff! This is based around my D&D group’s current Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign where our Goliath Fighter, Nioh, ends up getting a little bit of hate for being cocky, and our little (well over 6′) hater, Axel, is just a man full of irritation. These are the tallest two characters of the group at the moment. Someone send help. Nioh belongs to one of the other D&D players, Axel (and his stupid additude) belongs to me.

[05/15/21] - This is what me playing D&D feels like. Me, the demon entity trapped inside the head of my D&D character, yelling at them to do things while the dice decide that they’re gonna get bopped a hundred times by a yeti and somehow still survive. This is also a reference to our first or second game where I just ran off like sixty feet to one side of the battle map to fight a Crag Cat and was just in Gay Baby Jail until like two turns later when I could run back to the others. I also drew him not in his winter gear even though this is a bit from when we were atop Kelvin’s Carin in an icy cave, so maybe that’s why he’s at low HP.

[05/15/21] - Melia has good gardening tips, such as Use A Mars Mii Trap To Hide A Body Because They Are Endangered And It Is Illegal To Dig Them Up. I love her a lot, because she’s the youngest of four, all four sisters based around the different seasons. She’s based around Autumn, so she’s all orange and yellow and brown and is so cute. Also she’s Chaotic Neutral, as if she didn’t need to be mildly more threatening.

[05/15/21] - Cecillia is my Tiefling gal who lived in a very northern town plagued by cold weather and snow, and Axel is my Pirate guy who spent most of his time further south on the high seas and warmer weather. So, naturally... I’ll use the guy more acclimatized to the hotter weather in the campaign where we spend 99% of it in the snow. She uses Tarot Cards as her spell focus, and I decided to sneak my other D&D characters onto her Tarot cards so naturally, Axel is The Hanged Man, given his backstory and personality. She’s a very cheerful and friendly Tiefling Necromancer of the Hexblade, so she’d for sure take care of those around her to ensure their success. Especially if they’re on her Tarot Cards, and their spirit comes to her aid when she asks for them.

[05/16/21] - Content Warning; Ryma thinks too much into local stupid moron’s lack of knowing how to answer a question and thinks too much into the reputation of Pirates. Poor Axel, man doesn’t know how to socialize with people who aren’t pirates and is used to being hostile towards everyone, so when he’s asked a question that his answer to is “uhh... no?”, he panics and ends up making a mistake that leads him to think that Ryma can read his mind. Ryma belongs to another of the D&D players. I guess me drawing all those spicy Cow Costumed OCs earlier just brought me to drawing Axel being a bottom in this, huh?

[05/16/21] - It’s Mermay, which means more OC drawings! Here’s Theo after drinking some potion that turned him into a mermaid, and Seven, tiredly, collecting his stupid boyfriend so that Lailah can fix the fact he’s turned into a mermaid. Mer!Theo is based around his sword’s colours of indigo-purple with red accents, which looks a little weird since Theo is the Blue one of the group, but... it looks cool, I guess. Seven’s just the same outfit as always, just no gloves this time.

And that’s it for the art dump! This was, frankly, MASSIVE. I’ll try and remember to upload both on Twitter and Tumblr at the same time, but... Ah... I have been drawing a fair bit. Just mostly sketches and linework that I haven’t finished and may not actually finish. If they’re not completed, I’ll dump them all into something at the end of the month or whatever. Maybe you’ll get the old sketch of the Axel face in panel 3 because in the sketch phase it was an Ahegao face, in the clean sketch it was a lip bite, and in the linework and final it’s just horny face. lmao.

Top ten things I have to remember for drawing: AXEL HAS A SCAR AND GREEN EYES. I remember his eye colour now, but if you look at his fullbody ref, he’s got brown eyes. And, naturally, I keep forgetting to put in his scar. He has more, but most of them are located in areas covered by his clothes. So if I ever draw him shirtless I guess I’ll have to place them somewhere.

Also maybe finish the reference sheets I have left to finish so I can post more of them, since I have two “Pets” completed (Roko and Mona’s nameless pet), but I have to do up Hunter, Warlock, Assassin, Akira, Myuut, and Stella. I’m betting when I do complete two more, it’ll be Hunter and Akira. Those two are the most fun to draw, at least.

Thank you so much!  OKAY! I’m gonna throw a few vague bullet points that I’ve found helpful here and then I shall attempt a VERY brief summary in more detail below the cut. -Memorable username. You want people to be able to find you without your name always being right in front of them. This is optional but helpful. -Post a lot. I gain my most steady stream of followers when I’m posting random sketches but I’m posting them frequently versus posting a few nice pieces sporadically. -Get involved in communities. Use tags. MMOs, D&D, fandoms, whatever you love that other people love! Using the tags to get your art of the things you love out to other people who love it? A+ -Participate in challenges! Inktober! Sketch Dailies! Mermay! Whatever tf monster smut I did in March. A SERIES that gets you posting consistently for a bit that people can follow and look forward to! (Also helpful with tags!) -Giveaways. I love doing giveaways. I love sending people things and people love getting things for free. They’re a great way to promote reblogs over likes and get your work out to more eyes. Plus, like I said, I love sending people stuff?? So it’s a weirdly symbiotic relationship! Those would be my main tips but if you want more of a breakdown, I’ve done a bit of a write-up below for my sordid, dark artist backstory.

I started my art tumblr back in...2011??? I think? 2012 maybe? To have a place to post some art projects I was doing back for my 2D animation class (I believe all evidence has been eradicated so don’t bother looking lol!) My username was “CatbatCD” at the time. CD stood for “Character Design” because that was the class I was taking. I ended up cultivating a few followers. <100 I think? And I got the very occasional commission. After college, most of what I posted was TTRPG stuff. This was before D&D 5e got REALLY big, so I was posting a LOT of D&D  and Dark Heresy doodles and most people did not care that much. (For those of you who were watching me back when I drew a lot of Eden and Dark Heresy stuff, you the real MVPs.) At this point I had around 400-500 followers would be my guess! 

But I started accumulating more once I started playing MMOs and doodling stuff with those games as a tag! No joke, when I started playing Wildstar (RIP) and started posting work, it generated a lot of engagement from people and I definitely started accumulating more followers (more mutuals, specifically!) It was the perfect combo of original content and pre-established universe that people were familiar with! It was also when I started being more serious about taking commissions.

Now this is the point where my Pro Strat doesn’t exactly get repeatable. Halloween of 2015. I had been following along with the Sketch Dailies prompts on twitter (I don’t even know if they’re active anymore.) And right around Halloween the prompt was “Pumpkin King.” I did a little 20 minute doodle of Jack Skellington and threw it on my tumblr and didn’t think of it.

Well, guess what fuckin 20 minute doodle got featured on the tumblr radar? 

In one night, I randomly gained 500 followers. It was BONKERS. ESPECIALLY since it was a piece I put next to no effort in. I still have mixed feelings about that, but I have about 1000 followers and at this point it’s been about 3-4 years. Now this is where it kinda gets down to a more tedious grind. After this point, I don’t have any follower-gaining miracles except do lots of art! Take commissions! Post commissions! Do art challenges!  In your specific circumstance, you have to just start your blog. You can’t start it thinking “I’m gonna get 1000 followers in the first year.” You simply CAN’T approach it like that. Cultivating followers for an art blog takes a lot of time. And honestly for me, I didn’t really approach it with followers in mind when I first made my blog. It was literally just somewhere I was slapping art projects up for my prof to view remotely.  You just got to go with it. Make your blog, post art you make, be kind, find communities you love, and you will develop a community of your own. <3 I hope that was even a tiny bit helpful, or at the very least somewhat insightful.

I was trying to find pokemon mermaids but all I was finding was like the human girls from pokemon (like Misty & Dawn, etc) as mermaids when what I was wanting was pokemon anthros but like the fish ones as merfolk because that just makes sense. Hello! I’m Eternity, an art hobbyist who’s utterly obsessed with Phantom of the Opera and who’s finally joining Tumblr :) I’ve been admittedly stalking a few Phantom blogs on here, one being @epwhales, and fell in love with their mermay sketches so I had to draw their leafy sea dragon Cherik (hope that’s ok with you??)
